Priorities for Fulshear
Fulshear is growing fast. These are the areas Dan will focus on to keep our city safe, functional, and true to it's character.
Public Safety
Fulshear is already a safe place to live, and that doesn't happen by accident. Dan believes maintaining strong support for our police, fire, and emergency services is essential to preserving the sense of security families enjoy today. As a former officer, he understands the importance of planning, coordination, and community trust to ensure public safety keeps pace with growth and continues to meet the needs of our neighborhood.
Responsible Growth
Fulshear's growth is not a question of if, but how. Dan supports growth that is thoughtful, well-planned, and aligned with the long-term interests of residents, not just short-term development timelines. He believes new development should be supported by appropriate infrastructure, clear standards, and accountability so growth enhances our community rather than strains what already works.
Infrastructure Planning
Fulshear's infrastructure must keep pace with the reality of rapid population growth. Dan believes roads, utilities, drainage, and public services should be planned and communicated proactively so residents aren't left dealing with prolonged disruptions or uncertainty. He will advocate for better coordination between growth decisions and infrastructure planning to ensure projects are managed efficiently and with residents' daily lives in mind.
Preserving Fulshear's Character
Fulshear's character is what makes it feel like home. Dan believes growth and development should respect the look, feel, and livability that drew families here in the first place. He supports thoughtful planning, clear standards, and long-term accountability so growth enhances our community rather than changing it beyond recognition.
